We are thrilled to have two players from the Calgary Roughnecks at our school this week. Bobby and Kellen gave our Kindergarten students an introduction to Lacrosse today. We learned that this game originated in Canada by the First Nations people. We were told that back then this game was played to settle disagreements. So instead of arguing, people would just play lacrosse! Here are some pictures of the students practicing some basic skills with their stick and ball: *REMINDERS:
